Hey There! I’m Lindsey, creator of MomAndWife.com. I started this website because I wanted to write about the things I love and enjoy most in life, being a Mom and being a Wife. God has truly blessed me with an amazing little family. I’ve never felt more fulfilled. My Husband and I met through mutual friends, I wasn’t looking to meet anyone and he was about to leave for basic training. We fell in love and were married less than a year later. Three years after that our sweet Chloe Belle was born on Valentine’s Day. Coincidence? I think not. Being a Mother and a Wife has brought more love into my life than I ever could have imagined.
I am, by trade, a freelance web and graphic designer. When my Husband was deployed for the first time several years ago he bought me a new computer so we could keep in touch with Yahoo Messenger. This was before Skype came along and was our best form of communication. We were newlyweds and I desperately needed something to occupy the hours I spent sitting at the computer waiting for him to ‘sign on’. It just so happened that my new computer came with some free design software, once I played with it for the first time I was hooked. I had 12 months of spare time to fill, so, with the help of online tutorials I mastered Photoshop and learned how to build websites. I absolutely love the creative outlet and enjoy everything about designing. I now own and operate Pretty Darn Cute Design Studio { www.PrettyDarnCuteDesign.com } from wherever the Army sends us.
I’ve been a Christian most of my life and continue to grow and struggle along the way. I’m a bit stubborn and it’s been difficult for me to relinquish control and simply trust in God instead of attempting to micro-manage every aspect of my life. Wow, now that I’ve typed that out it seems so easy 
I love our Lord Jesus for the gift of life and count my blessings every day.
Random Facts About Me:
I could look at fonts all day long, I’m infatuated with Typography. I enjoy being crafty. I have the funniest Sister in the world, no lie, check out her blog here. I’m a middle child and have learned to embrace the many quirks I’ve developed over the years. Pink truly is my favorite color. I love music, and have had a huge ‘music crush’ on Garth Brooks since I was a toddler. I’m a horrible dancer. I’m known for my “loud laugh.” Growing up, I played every sport but soccer. I’m a Texan, a proud one 
When I was 9 years old I recorded myself singing Whitney Houston’s “I’m Every Woman” and I’ve yet to live it down. Thank goodness they never found my Celine Dion tapes…I swore I sounded exactly like her! Still do, in the car…by myself..

ahhh! i was soo happy when i found this site! I remember Color Army and used to visit it quite frequently so I was bummed when it closed down. I LOVED the recipes on Color Army and a couple years back I made the green bean bundles for Thanksgiving and they were a HUGE HIT! But i lost the recipe so i was so STOKED to fine it here!!!!!! I 1st found colorarmy.com during my husbands deployment overseas, and it was a wonderful resource for all things military wife, I loved it! And now that we’re out of the Army I’m THRILLED to have this site. Your such a great designer and such a neat chick! THANKS for sharing all your gifts & resources with us!! : )

I’m really impressed with ur bio… I’m not a mother neither a wife(i’m way too young to be) but I do have a boyfriend who i love<3… but! i'm a graphic designer student and also I love to bake i'm starting my own sweets business! and i was really impressed about the things u said specially about the part u sometimes want to control every little aspect of your life instead of leaving it to God and trusting him( that's something I can relate to) and also when u mentioned the things u love! they are all the things i love too I saw some of ur recipes and i can't wait to try them myself! i love the design btw! I hope someday I can do something as beautiful as this page <3:D I'm very happy to have found this blog
