I have actually been hand washing our dishes and using the dishwasher as more of a sanitizer than anything. Needless to say I was not expecting the results I had. I decided to make a cobbler of sorts since it would be incredibly messy and the blueberries could potentially stain my otherwise perfectly white casserole dish.

Quick Recipe:

Preheat your oven to 375
simmer a couple cups of frozen fruit with some sugar, butter, water and a couple splashes of International Delight Cold Stone Sweet Cream coffee creamer…I don’t know it sounded good so I added it. And it was delicious. Once the fruit is defrosted pour it into a greased 8×8 casserole dish.
Mix 2 cups of bisquick with a cup of sugar and a 1/2 cup of milk. Add more if it’s still dry, because I honestly cannot remember how much milk I added. Splash some almond extract in there and stir it all up until mixed. Pour on top of fruit and bake for about 30 minutes or until slightly browned on top.

Here is what my dish looked like after dessert.

And then, I let it sit…overnight. I do not usually let a single dish go without at least being rinsed. This was difficult for me, but I really wanted to put this stuff to the test. The next morning, I ran the dishwasher. These, my friends, are the results…

It was completely spotless. Not a piece of food anywhere. Nothing dried on, no staining, perfectly clean.
