Simple DIY Baking Sheet Magnet Board

This is a super easy way to make a fun and functional magnetic board for your home. I saw the idea on Pinterest and decided to give it a shot. I’m nearly finished decorating my office and this is one of the final things that will go up on the wall. I started with an old baking sheet that I hated using to bake with. It was too large for the cabinet and a pain to clean because it’s bigger than the sink. I was just going to throw it away until I remembered seeing a baking sheet repurpose craft on Pinterest. So I spray painted it pink :) I then went to Hobby Lobby and purchased a roll of magnet, I’m not really sure what else to call it ;)

While at Hobby Lobby I saw some really cute, glittery flowers and decided to turn them into magnets using a little hot glue. The magnet roll I purchased had a sticky flip side, but I used hot glue just in case. I also hot glued magnets to my trusty rhinestone letters, that I use any chance I can. I just love those darn things. I had some pretty pink glittered clothespins I bought on clearance at Michael’s after Valentine’s Day this year, so I glued magnets to those as well.

I used a glittery clothespin to hold up some stationery I created for my little Brother and his now Wife’s wedding :)

The calendar I purchased at Hobby Lobby and the cupcake countdown is from a gift shop at a local furniture store.

And there you have it, a little spray paint and some hot glue is all there is to it :)

Very cute! What makes it so cute is all the cute little thingies you placed on the cookie sheet board. (Too much cuteness? I think not!!) You have the touch! Thanks for sharing!!!

Oh my goodness! I did this exact same thing only with a HUGE oil pan from the automotive section! We have it in our kitchen! I then realized that it makes more sense to put it in my office because everyone already HAS a huge magnetic board in their kitchen…..the fridge! HA! Anyway, yours is way cute!

LoL you’re so funny! Thank you! I have an oil pan in our office, just lower down on the wall, so Chloe can play with her magnets. But I didn’t paint it because she’s so rough with things I thought it might be a mess lol
