It’s been forever since I posted. Turns out this 2 kids, working from home and one crazy puppy thing while my Husband is off training is kind of tricky to balance
I think I’m getting it down though, yay me! Without further ado, I bring you my latest favorites from shopping adventures, Birchbox and beyond
Ergo Baby Carrier – Petunia Pickle Bottom Fabric

My new favorite thing. My little brother got married last week (Awww!) so we had the rehearsal dinner, wedding etc to go to. I’m breastfeeding and my entire family/babysitters would be at the wedding so I needed an easy and comfortable way to carry little Miss Evie around. While I love my Moby Wrap, the heavier my little squishy baby has become, the easier it loosens. My baby guru friend (hey Megan!) suggested the Ergo. She is a wealth of knowledge and I usually just consult her even before I go googlin’
I was sold on just the functionality and comfort of the Ergo, but once I saw the petunia pickle bottom fabrics I couldn’t get to Buy Buy Baby quickly enough. I’m a sucker for bright, fun colors and definitely anything Petunia Pickle Bottom. You can even loosen the side straps and feed your baby, there’s a hood that pops out of the front pocket as well. Amazing. This is actually on sale on the Ergo website, $15 off retail! Click here.
Kiehls & Philosophy

The Kiehls cream is from a recent Birchbox, I love it. It just feels great on my face.
Hope in a Jar I’ve used for quite some time and love. It’s my favorite moisturizer. I read a review of it once that described it as a “cool drink of water for your skin” and that could not be more accurate.
fresh sugar kisses lip treatment

So, I was in Sephora a few weeks ago, purchasing more Hope in a Jar, and I received this little free gift because it’s my Birthday month. I remember a long time ago my Sister and Aunt had this Fresh lip treatment and loved it. My thoughts at the time were, no way I’m spending that much money on freakin’ chapstick. I take back that statement. This is not chapstick, it is perfection. I have chronically dry lips and have tried everything (Mac lip conditioner, all of the Burts Bees line, Hawaiian kukui oil chapstick etc..) I have not had dry lips since I started using this. I didn’t expect to like the tinted one, because I have never been a fan of any sort of tinted chapstick in the past. But this rose tinted sugar just takes your natural lip color and brightens it up. I cannot say enough good things about this stuff. Go get some, you will not be disappointed.
Kerastase Cristalliste Lumiere Liquide
Translation: Really cool stuff that makes your hair shiny. Also, it smells nice.

This was in a recent Birchbox as well. I’m still using the sample because a little bit goes a long way with this stuff. It adds a little shine to your hair while bonding your split ends together. Woo Hoo!
Essie Nail Polish

I love Essie nail polish. Hands down my favorite brand, and I’ve tried ‘em all. It goes on so much more smoothly than the others, stays longer and is super shiny. The 3 way glaze is amazeballs. You put it on as a base coat, paint your nails, then use it again as a top coat. It gives your nails that freshly painted look even after they dry. Love it. And love the colors.
and last, but not least..
Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline Fragrance

I received a sample size of this from Birchbox, and loved it so much I purchased the full size. I’m incredibly picky when it comes to fragrance. This scent is so light and clean and perfect for pretty much any occasion. I love it.
If you do not already have a Birchbox subscription I highly recommend it! They are so fun to receive each month. It’s neat being exposed to products you might not ever know about otherwise. I have more than a few new favorite things because of it. Click here to check it out! If you do already have Birchbox, or just new favorite products in general, please share them in the comment section below

I was trying to find a birchbox alternative for Aussieland but every box I found has maybe 4 drugstore brands and 1 luxury brand. Or they have a box full of “luxury brands” that no one has ever heard of and I’m like really? who are you trying to kid lol
Anyway, I’m glad you’re loving your birchbox. I’ll live vicariously through you.
hugs
Angela
Bummer that they don’t ship to Australia! I’ll keep posting my favorites for you.
Loved your review! I actually went to sign up on Birchbox the other day but they are currently putting people on a wait-list. Hopefully it won’t take too long to finally get in invite from them!
I think they’re quickly expanding so hopefully soon
After reading your blog and learning about Birchbox I signed up. I have to say I love getting the stuff from them each month too. Some things I don’t really care for but already after 3 months I have found SEVERAL really cool items! Thanks sooooo much for telling me about it!
Awesome! So glad you like it
I get the myglam bag too! That one is kinda cool too!
I do not know whether it’s just me or if perhaps everyone else encountering issues with your website. It appears like some of the written text within your content are running off the screen. Can someone else please comment and let me know if this is happening to them as well? This might be a problem with my internet browser because I’ve had this happen previously.
