A couple years back I purchased this fun frame from Ikea. It was empty and I had an extra owl vinyl decal sitting around, so I threw it on some scrapbook paper, put it in the frame and left it in my closet… because it was ugly
I knew I could find a million (cute) uses for it. Deciding which direction to go was the difficult part. This frame pops up on Pinterest all the time. Among my top two favorite uses I’ve found are to create a chalkboard, and what I ended up doing with mine. It would look good in any color, ultimately I decided to go with old faithful. Pink!
Here’s how I did it:
I love how it turned out and had so much fun putting it together. Projects like these can go a million different ways, getting the inspiration is key. Which is why I love Pinterest so dearly ♥

Just found this via Pinterest (of course!) This is by far the cutest version of this frame I’ve ever seen! I’m in LOVE! I’m totally going to do this for my daughter’s room. Thanks for posting this!
Aww thank you so much for the kind words!!
I’m so glad you like it!
Every time I stop by your blog, I find myself revisiting this post. I really want to make one for our family room, with just our last initial on it!
I really want to redo this one with just a big R, but I can’t find the large letters anywhere lol
