While at Home Depot a while back I discovered these cute little brackets and had to use them somehow. I knew I needed something on the wall behind my desk… After a little thought I had the lumber dude cut a 6 foot long piece of pine so I (by I, I mean my Husband..again) could make a shelf.
2 brackets, 1 piece of wood, a couple of nails and a small can of paint later voila! Now what do I put next to those fun glitter letters? hmm…
I believe the whole project was under $30. For a custom shelf that fits a space perfectly I’d say that’s a pretty good deal. You can also use a less expensive type of wood, but I’ve heard pine is the way to go if you’d like it to stay even and sturdy. That’s what lumber dude told me, anyway 🙂
