Glittered Cardboard Letters

I’ve been hard at work (by I, I mean my Husband) painting things here lately. We’ve painted walls, furniture and most recently letters for the shelf in my office. I wanted something blingy and fun, so when I found this glitter spray paint at JoAnns I had to buy it.

It covered really well and gave just the amount of sparkle I was hoping for without warping the cardboard. He did two coats and it looked great.

Here’s the finished product up on the shelf I (my Husband) made :) DIY instructions for that coming soon!

A huge thanks to my precious Husband for painting them for me, and for going to Home Depot covered in glitter ;) Now that’s love ♥

Those look wonderful! A glitter covered husband is the best kind. I think I will have to make some for my kitchen! Thanks for the tips.

I LOVE those cardboard letters from JoAnns. They turned out beautifully. The best part is your hubby covered in glitter spray. Who needs Valentines Day when you get romance like that every day?!

I recently used the same glitter spray paint in gold to make a cake stand, my hands were COVERED in gold glitter paint and I almost didn’t want to wash them off, my husband kept calling me Gold Finger lol. I always say the world would be a much happier place if everything were covered in glitter. Love the letters!

My husband puts a plastic grocery store bag over his hand/arm and then spray paints for me. (Just in case your fella doesn’t really love the glitter look.)

I love the letters but I have to ask, where did you get the shelf?! Thanks!

What did you use to get your letter “P” to stand up on it’s own without tipping to the side? I just bought the letters for “SPRING” and everything stands up by itself except the P….

My Husband used some really sticky tape to get it to stand up, but it did fall after that even lol Maybe put a stick in the back of it and leverage it at a 45 degree angle?
