I’ve long used GiGi’s Hemp Wax kit from Sally’s.
Mainly because the only person I trust to wax my eyebrows is in Texas, and I’m wherever the Military sends us. And because it’s super convenient. But, also, because I refuse to spend $30 every two weeks simply to remove a few eyebrow hairs. I’ve spilled a few drops here and there over the years, but nothing like I did the other day…
This was after I frantically scraped a ton of it into the trash can using a large wax applicator stick. I still don’t know how I knocked it over, everything just blurred as soon as I saw the puddle on my counter. The tiny drops I’d spilled in the past were a huge pain in the, well, they were difficult to clean up. I immediately consulted my best friend Google for help. I came across quite a few interesting suggestions before I saw “the one”. You know when you’re googling a topic and you weed through tons of results until you stumble upon that link that says everything you want it to say all on one line? Mine said
“remove spilled at home wax easily with an Iron and paper towels”
I totally have an iron and paper towels, brilliant!
What that didn’t get up, a little 409 did
I share this with you all today in hopes that if you ever encounter a similar problem you will first consult google. If you encounter this exact same problem, an iron and paper towels work sister.
Google, I love you.
