DIY Chalkboard

I absolutely love having this chalkboard in our kitchen. We use it for everything. Menus, welcome home signs, parties, teaching, reminders, lists etc.. Best of all, it was super easy!

Supplies:
2×4 foot ply wood from Home Depot
Paint brush
Chalkboard paint
Chalk – i Love crayola outdoor chalk, the colors are extra vibrant :)
Hammer
Nails

You just paint a few coats evenly onto the piece of wood, wait for it to dry and hang it on the wall :)

And there you have it :)

Ways you could get extra creative with this:
Cut your wood into a shape, use markerboard paint, paint a border around the board, use crown molding to frame your chalkboard, paint an entire wall :)
