Fun Shopping Finds

A few fun things I’ve seen online lately, and a few things I use all the time and highly recommend

I love this eyeshadow, I purchased the “glisten” shade and use it frequently. It’s super shiny, but not too “in your face” so great for every day wear. I could, however, do without the applicator. I put it on my lid with the applicator, then use my brush to blend and move it around. You can find this at Sephora, Ulta, or anywhere else Bare Escentuals products are sold.

How cute are these?! I found them by doing a google search for “vintage aprons” and fell in love. You may purchase these at CarolynsKitchenOnline.com. My favorite is the “Dorothy” Apron (red, black and white seen above) You can also find tons of really cute vintage aprons on Etsy.com.

I love big hair, like, LOVE, BIG hair. The higher the hair, the closer to God I’ve always used Alterna Life Volumizing shampoo, but was recently given a gift certificate to Sephora and they don’t carry that product. I read the reviews on just about every volumizing product on their website before purchasing this one. It came down to Frederick Fekai, or Oscar Blandi. Both had rave reviews, but Blandi’s products are paraben and sulfate free so I went with those. I could sing the praises of this glorious shampoo and conditioner all day long. I’ve been using it for over a month now and absolutely love it I use the shampoo, conditioner and volumizing spray. It works wonders. If you are a fellow fan of big ‘ol hair I highly recommend you check these out. Sold at Sephora.com.

These were in Victoria’s Secret’s most recent catalog and I couldn’t pass them up. I love anything with a cute little bow (see my PrettyDarnCuteDesign.com logo) so I was sold. Great for the beach this summer and for fun summer dresses.

If you have super dry skin and aren’t prone to breakouts definitely try this stuff. It smells amazing and works wonders for your complexion. Amazon.com, see sidebar widget.

Like I said previously, I don’t like to spend money. So years ago I went shopping for the best at home waxing kit that would actually get the job done. I’ve tried other kinds, including other kinds made by GiGi. The HEMP formula grabs best. This entire kit is under $20 and lasts me nearly a year. If I were to get my eyebrows waxed at a salon it would cost me $30 every two weeks. You do the math

My daughter was gifted a cute little pair of baby TOMs at her birthday this year, until then I wasn’t hip to this trend. TOMs donates a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair of their shoes purchased. What a sweet deal, cute shoes and a good deed! TOMs.com
