There are so many gorgeous, fun and whimsical craft rooms out there. As a web and graphic designer I like to look at room decor for inspiration, I’ve collected a lot of favorites over the past few years. Today I want to share a few of them with you all
KevinAndAmanda.com
I wouldn’t even know such thing as a “scrapbook room” existed if it weren’t for the very first one I laid eyes upon. Amanda’s from KevinAndAmanda.com.

She has drawers dedicated solely to ribbons.

Her very own scrapbooking paper aisle in the comfort of her own home.

And the cutest little self decorated organization cabinets.

You’ll notice a trend among craft rooms after seeing Amanda’s. The majority are painted a similar blue color, she posted the names of the paint colors used in her house a few years ago and creative people took note.
Check out Amanda’s entire post discussing her scrapbooking room in detail.
Andrea SIngarella
Next up is Andrea Singarella’s “Playroom” as she calls it. This room is absolutely gorgeous. I love how her shabby chic theme is carried out in every little detail, and there are a lot of details.

Every inch of this room is decorated to perfection.

Check out Andrea’s post in it’s entirety here.
Utilizing Closet Space
This is actually a photo from a Lowe’s ad, but I thought it was such a neat idea and beautifully done. For those who don’t have enough space to dedicate an entire room to their hobby, try a closet. So chic!

Kid’s Creative Space
This craft room for kids is amazing. Amy at Living Locurto featured it a while back and I second her sentiment “Can you imagine having this in your home? I think most of us would rather have this for ourselves… forget the kids! ha!”

The Polka Dot Chair
This fun craft room is Melissa’s from The Polka Dot Chair.

I especially love the chalkboard paint on the cabinets. We have a chalkboard door at our house and it gets quite a bit of use.
Heather Bailey
Heather Bailey is a fabric designer that I’ve been infatuated with for a very long time. I love her vintage style and her ads make me wish I lived back in the 50s. Also, I love really big hair so the 50s kind of would’ve been perfect for a gal like me. Back to her creative space…

Wow, so pretty ![]()

Three Men and a Lady
This space created by “Three Men and a Lady” has a more modern feel.

Gorgeous.

Flickr Inspiration
And finally here’s a craft room found on flickr that I just love!

So there you have it Mom And Wife readers, may you all have a wonderfully creative day!

My mansion in heaven will have one huge room that looks something like these! I love looking at this stuff. Makes me want to go home and organize hubsters “man cave/office”!
I love, love, love this post! I’m always looking for inspirational pictures for my craft room! You’re right – pure eye candy! I adore Heather Bailey’s space – it’s just fabulous!!
Oh my HECK!!! I am absolutely in looooove with the first featured room, the scrapbooking one. I could get lost in there for weeks
Absolutely perfect!
omg I did not ever realize a craft room could be beautiful!! WOW I am speechless! I would like to be an interior designer some day and you are an inspiration. Thanks for sharing!
I love looking at scrapbook rooms! I cant wait to have one of my own. I love these you choose in particular
I love Heather Bailey also and definently covet her craft room! Thanks for sharing with us, I love your blog!
I don’t have a ‘crafting room’ per say, but a do-everything room that centers mostly around quilting (sewing). But I do tons of other stuff in there. I guess the thing I am most guilty is that the room is a disaster about 95% of the time and occasionally I have to just stop and purge and organize. But the almost never look like any of these photos… I guess they must have stopped and really cleaned up to take photos!
I am looking to convert a room in my house for my scrapbooking. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Hi Sharon! I highly recommend searching craft or scrapbook rooms on Pinterest
I wrote this blog before Pinterest, and just googled. Pinterest is full of great inspiration. Best of luck!
