I found this book while shopping at TJ Maxx of all places, it was on sale for $2.99 so I picked it up. I honestly assumed It would have maybe one or two good recipes, I’d write them down and this book would find it’s place on the bookshelf with the rest of my cookbooks that I rarely reference. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the majority of the recipes in the book sound very appealing to me. I especially love that each meal is $7 or less for the ingredients. Even better is that each recipe is a general idea of how to cook something and there are numerous options to substitute different ingredients and get creative. Keep in mind that while the book contains healthy recipes, they’re not all low calorie diet food. For example, New York Strip with Mustard Marinade, doesn’t sound like diet food to me. Each recipe is complete with nutritional information, and cost.

Or Pasta with Beef & Cheese – now we’re talkin’

Sounds like a great cookbook. I did a search on amazon and they have a crockpot one, too. That’s my fav way to cook;) Thanks for sharing.
I saw that, definitely let me know what you think of it!
