You don’t have to be a graphic designer to make a party banner. With a little nudge in the right direction you’ll be decorating for parties like a professional. All you need is a pair of scissors, glue, a hole punch, some scrapbook paper and ribbon. If you prefer to use your computer to create a template for your banner you may go ahead and do that, or you can go the manual route.
Simply cut a triangle out of paper and use it for a stencil to cut out all of the triangles (or circles) you’ll need for your banner. I recommend marking where you want your hole punches on the template as well so the holes are all symetrical.
Next, cut white circles out of card stock for your banner’s letters and write your letters on the circles. Again, you could use your computer to print the letters and then cut them out as well. I used my computer because I trust my ability to use computer software more than I trust my ability to use a sharpie.
Then just glue the letters on, punch some holes in the tops of your triangles, string them together with ribbon or cord and there you have it. Your custom party banner is complete!
